Vaccination provides protection to those ages 18 to 44

The vaccine protects people from Covid-19 infection and helps build herd immunity. Those aged 18 to 44 get relief from vaccination in Jaipur.

From  May 1st, a crucial war against the coronavirus will begin across the country. Several states have begun the third round of immunization today, and many states have raised their hands. The next round of coronavirus vaccine had begun from 1 May in 11 district headquarters throughout Rajasthan, with persons aged 18 to 44 receiving vaccine. Dr. Raghu Sharma, the state’s Medical and Health Minister, said that vaccinations for those under the age of 45 will begin on May 1 in the state’s 11 district headquarters.

According to Sharma, the vaccine-producing Serum Institute of India has consented to give three lakh doses to Rajasthan at this time, therefore immunization for this age range has begun in the 11 district headquarters most impacted by Covid-19.

The Union Health Ministry has changed the rules and issued new orders for  Vaccination-

  • There will no longer be a need for an online appointment. Will be able to get the Corona vaccine dose directly.
  •  However, before getting vaccinated, registration will have to be done on the spot on Cowin.gov.in.
  • Now vaccines will be available through onsite registration.
  • After booking slots for vaccines from several states, Complaints were being received for not reaching the people.

In such a situation, there were reports of vaccines going bad from many places. There was a lack of information and resources for online booking at the village level people had to face problems. On the basis of these reports, the Union Health Ministry took this decision.
